TGIF...seriously...not like family matters or anything. [Feb. 11th, 2005|11:32 am]
[mood | awake]
[music |The wagon]

Ahhh lets see...It's second semester of my junior year of college... WHOA! Does that not freak anybody out?  Plus its my second to last semester as a Redbird since next semester i'll be in bloody old England you geezer!!  I watched Ray last night for the first time and it was a very touching movie..I enjoyed it.  I also rented sex and the city season 4 and the best of jimmy fallon SNL.   I dont know why i'm gonna do this weekend...i hope it doesnt blow.  Katie and I are going to get a hold of some DDR i think and tear it up on the fake dance floor.  I miss Marisa. She's in Spain and I'm really jealous.

I love my media writing and presentation teacher... he rules hard. In my last class we made fun of Lars from Metallica for a good 20 minutes. He also wrote and directed a film and got Danny Glover to narrate it...impressive.  He's pretty kick ass...not gonna lie.

Im so anxious for it to get warm. Comeon Spring! I'm soooo over this cold weather its not even funny.  I'm going home next weekend and i'm pretty excited about it.  I plan on shopping downtown, going out for sushi with the parental units, and doing my laundry for free. If you're in Schaumpton and want to be my friend please call me.  I'll take you shopping with me and maybe even treat you to lunch!  Im going home on Thursday because I dont have classes on Friday BITCHES!!!!!

I'm in shock that Austin got eliminated from Project Runway instead of Wendy.  He was pretty amazing. Im such a reality show junkie.

I'm making a free valentines stuffed animal at the Boner on monday. Im going to name it Pickles J. Largeman.  It's a well thought out name.   It will be my valentine since i never have one.  I hate this fuckin' holiday and yes it is because i'm bitter.

Thats the official update of my life.  Its very CHINGONAS!!!!!!

idiot! [Jan. 6th, 2005|01:27 am]
[mood | good]
[music |garden state soundtrack]

Dude...i totally forgot I had this thing.  Winter break has been absolutely amazing! I didnt think it was going to be so great...but honestly i can't complain at all.  I have not had one night where i thought man this sucks i'm so bored.  I've been working my butt off at shaw's and raking in the dough.  Im going back with more next semester than I did last semester which is always a plus.  I bought a new digi cam...so I wont have to play with my friends cameras anymore. It allows me to capture idiotic/fun moments with my friends. Friends are good.  I love 'em.  I've been with them every night of break.  I bought lots of new clothing and mac makeup at the mall the other day.  It felt good to spend money.  I purchased Garden State and am absolutely OBSESSED with that movie.  It just leaves me with such a good feeling after watching it.  I went to a party downtown and the Fall Out Boy concert...both were wacky nights.  I went to a great hotel party on new years eve.  I learned some cool new dice games at eric alp.'s house.  I got to see Meet The Fockers (and had the pleasure of Emily Swan's company).  Got to drink at Lonestar with Scott and Jo and Danny and Katie...underage drinking is fun.  More underage drinking at the Stadium for Jimmy's b-day.  Went out to eat with my bestest girl friends at Champps.  Did shopping allover Schaumburg with Demar.  Went sledding tonight and drank hot cocoa.  Sledding is super fun and dangerous.  The funny thing is...the only people at the sledding hill were people 18 and older. I highly recommend it to everyone.  We came back here and drank hot cocoa with marshmellows.  I apologize that i'm rambling and talking about the most random shit ever...but I already watched a movie so therefore all thats left at 1:38 in the morning is the computer.  Winter break rules hard.  There will be more updates later.

Studying is overrated [Dec. 14th, 2004|05:56 pm]
[mood | stressed]
[music |Radiohead]

Yes I am physically still in school....but my mind is elsewhere.  Studying has been very hard for me to do this past week. Im just ready to go home. Im cranky, stressed, and anxious....all signs of a much needed break.

A few nights ago I couldnt sleep so i turned the tv on around 2:30 a.m.  I came across a tv show on Vh1 titled "John Mayer has a TV Show"  Now I have never been a huge John Mayer fan but after watching this I realized how amazingly awesome he is.  He is HILARIOUS!!  Who knew he was so witty? He just constantly ripped on himself and hung out with Trick Daddy.  He fuckin' told a bunch of high school girls that he didnt write his own songs, Richard Marx did. GENIUS!  I hope its not a one time thing...because it was by far an incredible show.

After watching that show it got me thinking....VH1 has some of the most clever, witty men on their tv shows/specials. Here are some of the funniest men at the moment to me... I love them all equally (well maybe not equally..but whatev)  I think humor is the best characteristic anyone can have.  Not just like ha ha humor but clever, unique humor.

1. John Mayer...Yes he sings some pretty weinerish songs, and yes his mouth makes me cringe... but he is a new favorite of mine...not because of his singing/guitar playing skills, but for his ability to make fun of himself and others.

2. Michael Ian Black...Another discovery of mine via VH1...his sarcasm makes me smile.  He's up for the position to take over Craig Kilborn's show. I hope he gets it...although I have to be loyal to Conan.

3. Dave Chapelle...the man is genius. He's so raunchy and I have yet to see a bad episode of chapelle show.  I almost peed in my pants when Oprah was his baby momma.

4. Dave Navarro...another Dave.  Ok I have a secret crush on him...and apparently so does my Dad, but anyways again VH1 and "Til Death Do Us Part" made me love this guy. I could do without his facial hair but really he can do no wrong...he loves 90210.

5. Conan Obrien...He is my favorite and will always be number one...If I had the option to marry this man I would.  How can you not love him and his hair?

Ok that was fun for me.  I need to do things like this every so often to keep myself occupied.  I just decided that i need to marry a hot, really funny man and have insanely hot, hilarious offspring. Done.

Got a big weed stash...pocket full of cash... [Dec. 7th, 2004|12:40 pm]
[mood | nostalgic]
[music |Elvis Costello]

I'm sooooo ready for this semester to be over. This semester has definately taught me one valuable lesson: GROUP PROJECTS SUCK AT LIFE!! This week I had (well still in the process) 3 group presentations. All having to be 15-20 minutes long, along with a 15-20 page paper, along with a power point. Lets just say that ISU definately has some "interesting" students. I never want to work with people again. Is that bad that i'm a public relations major?

This friday is katie's 21st birthday and of course we started talking about how old we're getting. It got me thinking....21 is old! It seems like yesterday I was 16 and thinking about how awesome it was going to be when I turned 21..but it was sooo far away. And now it's here. Then I started thinking about driving around. Yes...driving around. From like ages 16-18 when there was nothing to do...we drove around. It sounds boring...but for some reason it would always be fun. I realized that I will probably never drive around again. Now if we're bored and there's nothing to do...we'll go to a bar. It seems like we were always having these crazy, wacky adventures. Ahhhh those were the days...

The song "Saturday" by Ludacris reminds me of driving around. Also Pearl Jam's "Better Man"...listening to that in Kermi..it doesnt get better than that. Ok i'm done being nostalgic. Just some thoughts...

Im still Stephanie...but about 20 pounds heavier [Nov. 29th, 2004|03:44 pm]
[mood | exhausted]
[music |Mr J.T.]

Thanksgiving break is over.  To sum it up in one word....FOOD.  My week was centered around food.  I was happy to be home though and not do anything...plus i got to see people i haven't seen in a long time.  I think I got to hang out at least once with everyone..so that was good.  I'm sad to say that I went to Easy Street Pub ( the Schaumburg townie bar) a whopping 3 times!!!  What the fuck?  Also...Conant teachers are creepy.  This is what I did...in a nutshell:

  • Easy Street, Easy Street, Easy Street. I'm not even 21 and I'm sick of that place.  It was fun the first 2 times, but by the third night...i was not having it.
  • The Kenneth Young Benefit Fashion Show...Christie sang to me and Marisa used jazz hands...always a good time.
  • Renting movies...i still enjoy vegging
  • Met up with Katie and Jason...mini ISU reunion
  • Woodfield (pre Thanksgiving)
  • Shaw's for dinner...3 people: 35 dollars.  Amazing!
  • Bridget Jones II.  It was ok...
  • Got to hang with my collins elementary friends..go crusaders!
  • Got drunk off of 4 budweisers and puked and got invited to my first "funeral" at "hardcore" eric's house...im pretty sure i made an ass of myself too...
  • Got suckered into working and got a raise in my hosting salary even though i rarely host.  Sweet!

Ok..I got bored and stopped.  The bottom line is... I love my friends and I do love being home. I like when everyone is together and we can hang out and talk just like we used to.

Thanksgiving story 2004: My family actually talked about Cambell's Italian Wedding Soup for 20 minutes straight. I actually zoned out and came back 5 minutes later and they were still talking about it! My parents and my aunt and uncle are going to be the worst old people ever!!  Aunt Eileen got drunk off of 2 cosmos. Uncle Jimmy (big Italian man) confided in me that...(direct quote) "My brother-in-law is a fucka pussy with no balls."  That is why uncle jimmy is awesome.

Back to reality...this sucks.  2 and a half weeks til christmas! Shit! I need to start shopping

A big fuck you. [Nov. 15th, 2004|07:40 pm]
Tonight Katie Adam Jason and I went to Chilis for dinner. In the middle of dinner, Adam and Jason decided to gang up on me and make fun of my passion for the 1980s. They wanted to see a more "futuristic" Stephanie. So in tribute/in spite of those lovely boys i got rid of kevin, whinnie, and paul and replaced them with robots. Enjoy!!!

Suckers.

*Dont worry I still love the 80s*

I feel like chicken tonight. [Nov. 10th, 2004|09:05 pm]
[mood | chipper]
[music |Foo Fighters]

Ok...so the other night I watched Bands Reunited on VH1....and they featured the GREAT 80s band Scandal.  Watching it made me rekindle my love for the song "Goodbye to You".  If you dont already have it downloaded...do it.  This song mainly reminds me of an episode of Charles in Charge.  The only episode I can actually remember. It consisted of Nicole Eggert's character or her sister...i cant remember... singing that song at some club???  Whatever..it jogged my great memory of the song and of scott baio.

In my public speaking class we were assinged our last speech....a persuasive speech on anything we want.  So I of course came up with the great idea of persuading the class that Courtney Love killed Kurt Cobain.  I already watched the documentary about it "Kurt and Courtney".  Do I really believe she did???......i dont know.  I will agree however that she is one crazy ass bitch and I cant figure out what he saw in her.  The movie actually made me kinda sad.  I was never a huge Nirvana fan, but i think he was an amazing song writer and he seemed so down to earth and nice.  Either way I will provide an awesome speech and wow the class/professor because: a) If I do one thing well it is public speaking, and b)I can pretty much guess that the majority of the class will be doing lame ass speeches about "why you shouldnt smoke" or "why we didnt land on the moon" blah blah blah.

America's Next Top Model is heating up! ow!  My sister is pinning on my dad's wings at his graduation....haha.  Katie's Dad and bro are coming to party friday.  Joey Veronico is a fun party buddy (even though he passes out at like 12).

I saw a dead squirrel in the street today. His little hands were folded over his body like he gave himself his own burial.

Random thoughts [Nov. 7th, 2004|07:31 pm]
[mood | bored]
[music |The Smoking Popes]

This weekend I got unexpectedly drunk. I played Dr. Mario drunk and beat my opponent every time. I guess I'm not rusty. I forgot how much I kick ass at that game.

I also in my drunken state got gum attached to the back of my jeans. For all of you that dont know, gum is my enemy. I have not chewed a piece of gum since the age of 7 or somewhere around there. Of course I freaked out and luckily Katie rubbed ice on it until it came off. I dont know what i'd do without her. It was a very traumatic experience.

I won 30 dollars in poker. I never win things. I bought 3 dvds and a sweater this weekend. I had the biggest desire to go to Woodfield this weekend and it was depressing that I couldnt because i'm in Normal, Il. Eastland Mall does no justice to the Motherland (Woodfield Mall).

This week I plan on: watching "Supersize Me" with Rudy, convincing someone to go see the hotness that is Jude Law in Alfie with me, and going on a double date to Chilis.

I had a nightmare last night about work (even though I am currently unemployed). It was really scary. It sounds stupid, but over the summer when I was a server at Shaw's I used to have nightmares all the time about working. I dont know if they're coming back because i'll be working there again in a month or so....but they need to stop! Hopefully I get my job back.

Im such a dork.

Living in fear til age 24 [Nov. 3rd, 2004|02:35 pm]
[mood | angry]
[music |Jimmy Eat World- Clarity]

This country is stuck with Dubbs for yet another 4 years.  The only positive outcome of this I can think of is the continued mockery of him on Saturday Night Live. I dont consider myself that much of a political person..but it being the first year I can vote I really tried to follow the election process as much as possible.  I just feel really helpless.  I dont think George W. Bush gives a shit about me or anyone remotely like me.  Also I think that his reelection makes our country a billion times more at risk.  Every country HATES the United States and HATES George Bush....now he's in office for 4 more years and we deserve everything that happens to us because the overwhelming amount of REPUBLICANS in this country and in the electoral college voted him in.  Ok i'll stop bitching about Bush until his next idiotic decision that is "for the good of this country."

On a brighter note... Halloween was this weekend and of course it kicked ass.  Everyone knows by now that it is my alltime favorite time of the year.  The costume was a success. Friday I got to hang here with my REDBIRDS and Frankie Streu and Jason came to visit.  I love those boys.  It was fun times of course minus the rain, mud, and my feet swelling up.  Saturday I went to UofI and it was a great time! I got to see lots of people who I miss on a regular basis.  We always have a good time together. I also discovered that there is a glow in the dark lever in my trunk, with instructional illustrations on how to escape from the trunk if you are locked in there.  It makes me feel good that if shoved into my trunk, I will safely tuck and roll out of it.   I was thinking about it and next year I'm going to be in England for Halloween.  How sad is that?  How old am I that this was my last college Halloween?  I'm going to dress up in Europe anyway and celebrate by myself if need be.  I'll just be the crazy American girl dressed up weirdly.

Lastly:  Sorry John Kerry, you did your best..but it looks like no one could have helped you...not even P Diddy!!

My wedding invitations are in the mail [Oct. 24th, 2004|07:51 pm]
[mood | depressed]
[music |Jimmy Eat World]

Mimi's wedding was awesome. I caught the bouqet, so therefore you will soon be receiving wedding invitations in the mail. Dont have even an IDEA who could be the groom...but who knows he could walk into my life any day now. I pretty much got drunk, was the center of a dance circle, danced a lot, and bonded with our table...Table 9..the best table. It consisted of 8 20-year olds and my parents. hah. Highlight of the night would have to be when my Dad tried to steal the head table's white zinfindel because we drank all of ours and when he danced with a tie around his head while everyone chanted "Table 9". Also when Dave did the worm. Pictures will be posted shortly.

Im not going home until Thanksgiving. I dont know why people enjoy going home so much. I get so off track and out of it going from home to school. Plus the drive sucks especially if you drive it alone. And everytime i go home i miss something kick ass at school and most likely do jack shit at home unless there is a reason to go home. Especially now since everyone is turning 21, no one wants to hang out at places that arent bars. bummer.

Im getting sick. I sound like a man. I have a bad cough. My registration date got pushed back. Everyone has objects of affection except me of course. I'm currently involved in 3 group projects. I feel like i haven't seen/talked to so many of my friends in a long time. I miss them. I think I'm doing bad in school. There is drama in my family. So i guess my life kinda sucks right now?? The one thing that makes me really happy though is halloween. It's my alltime favorite holiday and time of the year. On thursday Katie and I carved pumpkins and it made me so happy. I dont know if it just brought me back to my childhood or what...but it made me really happy. I should carve pumpkins everyday.

I need a pick-me-up. STAT!

Attention span is zero. [Oct. 19th, 2004|11:48 pm]
[mood | lazy]
[music |Smashing Pumpkins- Disarm]

This weekend...

  • Got to party it up with Joe Moe.  I ate his pokey sticks and did the Harlem Shake for him. Visitors are fun!
  • Got convinced last minute by Adam to go to University of Iowa with some crazy boys
  • Drank for free at Iowa because of Scott Crassweller, Meagan Gordon, and childhood family friend who I have not seen in like 5 years.  Thanks guys.
  • Dirty drinking games
  • My foot and Jason's shirt getting puked on by a "mystery puker"
  • Getting hit on by a 26 year old
  • Convincing T-Mobile to discount my cell phone bill by 50 dollars.  Go me!

This week...

  • Fuck group projects and dumb ass group members who like to screw over people who actually have their shit together like me
  • My hair is no longer blonde. It is brownish red.
  • I'm rockin these kick ass boots...

  • Me and Katie's Halloween costumes are scandalous!!  Watch out ISU boys
  • Going home on Friday for a wedding Saturday. Call me Friday if you want to hang with me and my boots in schaumburg
  • I went tanning today and burned my butt and back

I need think of more interesting things to say.  Oh yeah...also while day dreaming in class I decided I need Waynes World on DVD...so if you want to buy that for me that would be awesome.

i dont know. [Oct. 14th, 2004|02:56 pm]
[mood | groggy]
[music |The Bens]

I dont really have that much to say. The halloween costume is coming along beautifully. Joe Mo is gonna be down here to party on Friday. I might be going to Eastern on Saturday with my girls from home. I'm excited. Everyone leaves ISU on the weekends...or at least that seems to be the trend in the month of October. Its sucky.

This week I had my midterms and i'm happy the majority of them are over. We shall see how well I kicked ass or lack there of. Lately I've been feeling kinda melancholy..and really for no apparent reason. Sometimes i wish that things could favor me for just once. I mean...it's not like I really have anything to complain about....but i dont know, i feel like I deserve something really kick ass to happen to me.

I joined the Y and Michelle and I took a hip hop dance class there the other night and it's AWESOME. I realized though while watching myself dance in the mirrors that I am really really really white. Oh yeah..our teacher "Q", taught us how to do the harlem shake. Definately gonna have to whip that out at the wedding next weekend. Speaking of the wedding...we dont have a hotel room. So unless my parents drive me, adam, and dave home...one of us is going to have to drive and it's not going to be me. Open bar=stephanie drunk and dancing.

I'm just gonna tell Elaine that she needs to pay for a hotel room or she has to drive my drunk ass home. I dont think she'll enjoy hearing that too much.

I haven't seen schuyler in a long time....I miss his dancing.

Thats the end.

It's finally October. My all time fave month! [Oct. 3rd, 2004|04:18 pm]
I'm really sad. A few days ago I come back from class, sit down on my couch, and look at my beautiful bamboo sitting in a vase on top of my coffee table. My bamboo plant has been with me for over a year now. I look at it and notice that one of the bamboo stems is turning bright yellow!! I changed the water and gave it extra sunlight and it's still yellow! what the fuck? If my bamboo dies...it's gonna be the end of an era.... If you have extensive bamboo plant knowledge, please share your wisdom with me.

On Friday night my uterus hurt and it was raining so of course i decided to stay in. However...this was the best idea ever. Me Adam and Katie picked up some Franzia Boxed wine and bought Trivial Pursuit: pop culture edition. Needless to say I smoked Adam and Katie TWICE. Favia girls and pop culture go hand in hand. Also..the wine was so good that i didnt even realize how much i was drinking and before i knew it i was drunker than a skunk! I had absolutely no intention of getting drunk...but i guess 4 tall glasses of wine will do that to you. Katie and Adam were secretly making fun of me because I couldn't operate the dvd player or read questions without slurring. They called me "stumbles".

Im thinking of going home this weekend to see all my friends who I have yet to see since we began school. My parents are going to be out of town so maybe i'll throw a mini-bash. There may be an 80s themed party this weekend down here...so i dont know, it's a toss-up. I'll just have to decide spur of the moment.

I got a wedding dress and it is black and sexy. I accessorized it perfectly too. All I need now are some stylish/cheap shoes to wear with it. Adam and I are gonna match and be the hottest people there. I need to get crackin on my Halloween costume. Now i'm just thinking outloud so I'll wrap it up. October is awesome and so are my t-shirt material jersey sheets.

New obsessions [Sep. 21st, 2004|11:18 pm]

So these past few weeks or so I've developed a number of new obsessions.  They are the little things in life that make me happy since my life during the school week is pretty lame and boring.

Obsession #1

Full House- Last year in the dorms we did not get ABC family, but alas this year we have it.  Everyday before and after class I'll flip on the television and Full House is conveniently on.  Usually I'd pick a good Saved by the Bell rerun or TLC programming over Full House...but not this year. Uncle Jesse, Danny Tanner, Gibbler...i love em all!  (I especially love Derek the Yankee Doodle Dancer) He's my fave!

Obsession #2

Hummus- Sometime over the summer my Mom introduced my to hummus.  Before I always associated hummus with organic gross healthy food so I automatically turned it down, but after tasting it I was hooked! I was so scared because when I went grocery shopping at Jewel in Normal they didnt have it, but yesterday I switched it up and went to Kroger and sure enough they had it.  Now I put it on crackers, bread, breadsticks, veggies, bagels, you name it.  I'm going to turn into hummus

Obsession #3

Carson from Queer Eye- I've never wanted to hang out with someone on tv more than I have with him.  I say at least once a day to Katie, "I love Carson." I also talk to the TV when he's on.  It's kinda lame on my part and dorky but do I care?

Obsession #4

Kanye West....need I say more?

Obsession #5

McDonald's ice cream cones- They're a buck, low fat, and delicious.

Obsession #6

Taking care of my plant- I used to be a plant killer. I could not keep a plant or flower alive for the life of me.  The beginning of the school year I decided to give the whole plant thing one more shot.  As soon as Joshua (his name) looks sad...i give him water.  I actually do it excessively now and when I lay in bed I look at him.  My Dad has a green thumb and I'm sure that i'd make him proud.

Well those are my obsessions for the time being.  The weekend was fun. Visitors are cool. I'm going home on Friday. I need to find a dress for a wedding. I'm gonna buy a digital camera next week I decided. I need a job still though. I need an internship too. If you can help me out with any of this that would be great.

Realization [Sep. 16th, 2004|08:15 pm]
Its funny how I can sit on my computer or in front of the TV for hours on end and be perfectly content. But when I sit down and study I can only go an hour without getting distracted and stopping. I'm currently typing this on my "study break" which i should not be taking because I have an Organizational Communication test over 4 chapters tomorrow. I forgot how much I hated this whole "schoolwork" thing. Who wants to become strippers?

Oh why do I do this to myself... [Sep. 12th, 2004|11:47 am]
[mood | tired]
[music |Blur- Country House]

Well this weekend was officially the first crazy crazy weekend of the school year.  This weekend was for sure action packed. Take a look:

Thursday

  1. Started out in a shitty mood, didn't want to go out.
  2. Slapped on my Anthrax t-shirt knowing it would make me happier
  3. Stupid party--cops came
  4. Went back to Jen and Tracy's.  Brought the party there...
  5. Saw Jewish Joe at the Metro who I have not seen in like 2 years.
  6. Hung out. Drank Jager Bombs. Had fun.

Friday

  1. My sister came down here
  2. Treated her myself and Schuyler to some Famous Dave's. I had the rib tips.
  3. Used friend Michelle's fake ID and went to 3 bars.
  4. The last bar being "The Bistro" ISU's finest/only gay bar
  5. Danced with a transvestite
  6. Got hit on by a lesbian
  7. Fake madeout with Rudy
  8. Danced with Matt to Dancing Queen
  9. Got free condoms
  10. Went to Schuyler's and ate "seasoned curlies" with blue ketchup

Saturday

  1. Sassified myself up
  2. Drank
  3. Went to friend's apartment
  4. 2 kegs, summer hummers
  5. Drunk
  6. Dont remember conversations. Pretty sure I said some embarassing stuff...eh...what's new?
  7. Took wacky pictures
  8. Passed out..woke up with a pounding headache and my makeup crusted on my face. Gross.

Today is Sunday.  Sunday's suck ass. I have to go to the library and clean my vodka filled kitchen.  If I get a wiff of that, I'm gonna puke. Adam GF is mad at me. I'm not taking you to the wedding Adam because we'll get to go to a wedding together when WE get married!!  Alright..i need to shower.  I feel used, abused, and dirty.

I have a plus one! [Sep. 8th, 2004|10:49 pm]
My sister's best friend is getting married October 23rd. My sister is standing up and my whole family was expected to be invited to the wedding. So of course i'm thinking Michelle will get an invitation and then another one will come to the house addressed to "The Favia Family." Oh no...we got a total of 3 invitations. Michelle Favia plus guest, Mike and Elaine Favia, and STEPHANIE FAVIA PLUS GUEST!!!!!!! Thats right...I get to bring a date!!! I can not tell you how excited i am. I feel so grown up. Finally I'll have someone to get drunk with and dance with. The big question is... who shall I bring??? I already have a 92% lock in percentage with a boy...but there's still that 8% margin of error. So...if you want to come party with me "fancy style" on October 23rd let me know. Maybe if you give me some good reasons why I should choose you...I'll swing your way. However there are a few things you'll have to be able to handle:
1. My family
2. Dancing (at least a few)
3. Getting drunk
4. Looking nice and put together
5. Staying in a hotel room with me and my sister's date...and possibly my sister and another bridesmaide.
6. Table manners
7. Sappy wedding speeches.

That pretty much covers it. So...if you want to get drunk, eat for free, hangout with my and my sister's date (he's cool I promise), meet my Italian wacky parents, and get lucky after the wedding in a swanky hotel room. Let me know.

P.S.- I need a job. I'm worthless.

Mono was like the best diet ever! [Aug. 31st, 2004|11:31 pm]
[mood | hot]
[music |Foo Fighters]

So...Im back at school in my apartment with my 2 lovely roomates.  Today Katie and I came to a realization.  Every night our roomate mike cooks these gourmet, delicious dinners for himself.  Katie and I take some peanut butter and slap it on some bread and call it a night.  Katie and I are 100% Italian.  Mike is no percent Italian.  Does this make sense? I didnt think so.  I like cooking, but i just dont have the means to do it here, or the patience.  Maybe Mike will just cook me dinner and that solves my problem.

I decided i'm gonna be more involved this year at school. I'm getting a job, joining the PRSSA, and going to a "ISU democrats" meeting on thursday with my friend molly. I'm also joing the YMCA. Go me!

Ive been rollerblading and skateboarding a lot. People got robbed close to where me and Katie live. No more night strolls for us. Romy and Michele was on tv today. I love that movie. My sister sent me a package in the mail consisting of a coach change purse, dirty dancing, sour apple altoids, and a refrigerator note pad.  My sister actually likes me. Weird.

New obsession=Kanye West. He rocked the VMA's lookin' all sassy in his black crushed velvet suit. Polyphonic Spree...creepiest thing ever.  Marilyn Manson...awesome.

I played spin the bottle on Saturday and kissed 3 boys! I'm a slut!  Parties are fun. I cant wait for visitors. My apartment is really cute. I like this whole "I have more than windows 95 thang."

Katie and I decided tonight that we are cute, fun, intelligent, respectable, non-clingy girls and its Re-fucking-diculous that we dont have boys after us.  I also came to the conclusion that ISU boys are nerdy. Thats it for now.

The LJ is back in action!  (or rather...my boredom is back in action)
